Hi JC

What an impressive capture!
This little grasshopper looks like it has no escape from this one anymore...but that's just the way life is and this picture is a great example of one of nature's faces.
Lovely colors and details, excellent POV and lighting. I also like the composition here and the excellent flash management.
If i were really critical, i would say that i would have used a 1-2 step bigger DOF, but i still like the outcome :)
Great work! Bravo and TFS

Hi JC,
I saw a similar entanglement involving a white butterfly while I was shooting dragonflies in a park in India. That butterfly too turned lucky and eventually escaped unhurt after a lot of struggle. I watched the whole drama in utter fascination!
I guess this grasshopper was too strong to be intimidated by a spider's web.
However, very interesting capture of the insect hanging suspended on those gossamar thin threads.
TFS and bye.

Hi JC

Nice capture before the spider captured this grasshopper!
Good detail and subtle lighting that shows the spiders web up well against the dark BG.
A lot of good photography is grabbing the opportunity when it comes.
TFS, regards, Ivan

Hi Jitti.
Excellent macro shot and great scene. I like your green colour palette. You have used all opportunities of this beautiful colour. Tone range is perfect as well as the details of grasshoppers and web. Lighting is very nice, DOF and POV are superb. TFS and my compliments.

This is a very good example of "jungle law"... And so nature goes... This is a great capture with excellent details and very good composition. This lightning is great and I like those beautiful details in the spider's web as well. Poor little thing... Well done and TFS,

Dear Jitti!
This is a really dramatic shot! The situation of the grasshopper doesn't look like a happy escape, but obviously the insect can fight for its life and win...
