[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Deep in the Mekong Delta this is what much of the thousands of square kilometres is like. Very difficult terraine to move around in without a boat.
The Mekong Delta (Vietnamese: đồng bằng sông Cửu Long "Nine Dragon river delta") is the region in Southeast Vietnam where the Mekong River approaches and empties into the sea through a network of tributaries. The Mekong delta region encompasses a large portion of southeastern Vietnam of 39,000 kmē. The area covered by water depends on the season.

This looks very forbidding territory! the waters hide anything below the surface and the brush anything beyond the river's edge -- not a pleasant place to be in, I'd say!

Hello Murray,
I probably should not say anything since I don't trust my laptop screen, hehehe!
Seems like unreal to move around in a landscape like this, I guess you need skilled locals to show you around!
Greetings,
Pablo -
