Excellent colours on this one, thechnically: a shadow from the flasha nd a little soft on focus, maybe the DOF was shallow. Still a good post. TFS

It's Precis genoveva, a Carribean butterfly that sometimes strays to S. Florida.

J'ai un faible pour les papillons et celui-ci est très joli. Le cadrage serré me plait bien. L'exposition donne une belle saturation des couleurs. Et la netteté est assez bonne. Bravo.

Nice closup Alain. The colors work real well. Lots of neutral colors. The only thing that could be considered a distraction is the shadow under the left wing. It doesn't bother me though. Your frame goes perfect with the picture too. Nice job.

Lovely shot! You've captured this "Buckeye" very nicely indeed. The details in the scales on the wings are spectacular, and the focus/exposure are spot on too. About the only thing I'm marginally curious about is the colour balance - perhaps try running AutoLevels and see whether you think it's an improvement, scanning film can often shift colours fractionally as I know to my cost! Anyway, an excellent capture :D
