Hello Laurens!
Great capture of so nice Diplopoda species! We have some Polydesmus species in Poland too, but these are rather smaller :)
I like a lot shining effect and perfect DOF. Great work!

Wow, what an impressive MIllipede ! It looks quite big, on the picture, and I bet it really was big. I alos like its greyish color, and you manahed to capture him with great sharp^ness and details. Nice composition, excellent POV from above. Very well done !

Hi Lou,

This is fascinating - I have never seen a close-up like this of a Millipede. The image is magnificent with fantastic details and excellent colors. He looks very shiny. The clarity of each segment with its own four legs is wonderful.

What an interesting creature to look at. The details of this shiny flat Millipedes is very well displayed. Your photographic work here was done excellently. The legs looks like little worms sticking their heads out of the side of the body. The antenna is lovely. I like the surrounding in which you have captured it, as the leaves makes a beautiful background. The composition is great, capturing the Millipedes in the middle of the frame. Thanks for sharing this very interesting looking creature.
