Hi Laurens . The spiders webb looks like lace. Its so well made they are so clever insects. You have taken it with good detail and colours. not so good for the Lady bug. well done TFs.

A superb capture of a Silver Argiope, wrapping up its prey in the middle of its fine web. The spider is seen with fine sharpness and the wonderful pattern of the web is well shown in a fine composition.

I have never seen such a beautiful web! I'm sure the poor ladybug isn't telling the spider how his web looks just like lace. The spider is wonderful with his lovely silver color.

Het was wel even goed kijken voor ik in de gaten had dat er een grote spin over het web stond. Wat een prachtige camouflage. Dit web is ook heel bijzonder.

This is a great shot. There is so much going on and you have captured it very well. You are right, the web is beautiful. I have never seen an inter-part of a web that looks like this. It almost looks like a drink coaster. Then you have the spider and the bug.

This is nature at it's best.

Vey interesting spider-web, looks like a lace-work! Amazing also to see the spider just working on a poor ladybug.
The white part on the top left is disturbing a little bit, but you couldn't do it better, considering the distance you had to the web.

Here is another spider I photographied in Venezuela 2 years ago. All the Argiope build this kind of structure whose goal is not clear. Here the structure you photographied is awesome!!! And the dark bg let us see it very well. Bonus: the spider has a prey!
