[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This Ctenosaurian reptile is a black iguana (Ctenosauria similis) on the move. I surprised her chassing crabs on a fabulous tropical little bay on the Pacific side of central Costa Rica. It was fantastic to just be there but animals were such a plus, as jungles and rainforest grow all the way into the shores: curious monkeys, playful coatis, huge iguanas, lazy sloths, ear-piercing cicadas, canvas butterflies, crimson crabs and gigantic spiders to name only a few of the creatures God left in this paradise...
COSTA RICA is the best place place to spot wildlife in the entire Central America!

Great combination of colors here. And the small amount of movement in the front paws adds that little bit to the shot which makes it so good. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Radu, I like this shot alot. I love the green water and the lizard looks superb stalking along like that. Very nice.
