[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Scorpions are commonly found on low, dry lands, and live worldwide except in antarctica. Most scorpions stings are not deadly, despite hollywood propaganda. Most fatalities caused by scorpion stings involve small children and people with previous heart conditions.

This is the creature that I feared the most going to Costa Rica. On 3 separate occasions I awoke from nightmares involving scorpions. This was the only live scorpion I had ecountered during my entire trip. This scorpion was hanging out at the cactus plant in an insect museum/farm in monteverde.

Hi Keith.
Auchhh is a scorpion, good photo, nice color and details.

Good detail and exposure seen in your scorpion Keith. Good supporting note also.
Rezizing to the 800 pixels wide would maximize your photo post. Well done & Welcome to TN!

Sharp and good, I just miss the tail. How big was this scorpio, and do you know how poisonous this kind is?
