[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is probably a Loggerhead kingbird (Tyrannus caudifasciatus) an american tyrant flycatcher. It catches insects in flight and is very agressive against other birds entering their territory. It looks very similar to the Eastern kingbird.

Hello Roland,
A great shot of this fine looking Kingbird in an attractive pose. I just photographed my first one of the season Saturday while up at the marsh. It's beautiful plumage is easily seen and you obtained wonderful eye contact. Nicely composed and displaying excellent exposure.
