Unique among the world's seven species of pelicans, the Brown Pelican is found along the ocean shores and on only a few inland lakes in the southwestern U.S. It is the only dark pelican.
•Large, dark waterbird.
•Long bill with extensible pouch.
•Body large and heavy.
• Wings long and broad.
•Soars close to water surface.

Very nice exposure the colors in the scene are very appealing. Nice detail throughout the entirety of the image. Well done!

This photo is really peaceful, I love the tone and the DOF. The bird itself is magnificent. Maybe the pelican is too centered but in my opinion, it doesn't penalize the composition.

Beautiful capture with nice clarity and lovely natural colour.Nice POV and very well balanced composition.
The Brown is a beautiful pelican. You shown it off well on some amazing turquoise water with great detail and DOF.
