A FROG OR MAYBE A PRINCESS?
 |
|
[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Stream Frog known also as Graecian Frog - Rana graeca (Ranidae). Body lenght: 5-7 cm.
This species is easy to recognize because of the very characteristic white stripe on the throat.
It is distributed on the Balkan Peninsula from Bosnia, Serbia, and southern Bulgaria south through Albania and Macedonia and throughout continental Greece. It is also known from Italy.
It can be found mainly in mountain areas where it occupies stones on the banks of streams, springs, and mountain rivers. |

Hello,
Nice and funny POV, however the POV could be slightly deeper to include entire head. Also some magenta dominant from flash is visible on the frog's skin. Otherwise an interesting contribution.
BTW - you've forgotten to mention that in this place I found thousands of gammarids ;-)
Best greetings,
Michal

Hi Radomir
This is a great picture of a very rare animal seen on TN!
I really like the frontal POV which allows a very good viewing angle for the whilte stripe on the throat of the frog.
The eyes look excellt and the shallow DOF work nice to give a smooth impression.
Good sharpness and colors, too.
Bravo and TFS
