Great capture of this couple!
I like the pose, it seems to be having fun under the sun.
Very good illumination, I like the bright shine in the borders that delimits it's silhouette.
Excellent the details got from that same level POV.
Congratulations and thanks for share it.
My best regards,

This is an interesting capture. The lighting makes it nearly impossible to get the right exposure for both butterflies. Nevertheless, you have managed a good compromise and made a sharp presentation of this rare occasion. I have never seen these species before, let alone see them together. It looks like the tongue of cassioides is probing for salts in the dung and probably that of eros as well, but the low aperture does not allow a certain view.
I enjoyed seeing this and thank you for sharing.
Best wishes, Ivan
Erebia: Pssst ... hey Eros, your pants are showing!
Eros: What? How can that be? I'm not even wearing them!
Ha, ha, ha! Two lovely butterflies tete-e-tete here, Peter!
With the sun coming from the opposite direction, the undersides of the wings of these butterflies look transparent.
A lovely capture of an unusual moment.
Thanks for sharing this delightful picture.

Looks like a nice "rendez vous" between two species! I like your workshop too, it looks as if they're having a nice drink together as well! I think we must go to the Alps again, I'm so impressed by all your shots!
Many thanks, Ulla

Sehr schöne Aufnahme ein richtiges "Rendez-vous"
was mögen sich die beiden wohl geflüstert haben...
Eine eher seltene und gelungene Aufnahme.

This is really neat! An idyllic happening to sink into and let fantasy flow for a while after the hard tasks of finding out who they are... Your WorkShops always offer very interesting complementary perspectives and materials. The Alpine world seems to be a haven for socializing with butterflies for I'm sure you've sneaked in and participates as the disguised second eros in that WS-party :-).
Thank you very much for sharing this quite amusing scene!

It is really unique POV which allows to feel the own participation in the world of these remarkable creatures. Perfect note as always as well as the workshop. I only prefer a bit larger DOF. Remote wings of both butterflies are out of focus. I like your butterfly series so much. My best wishes and TFS. Meet our Ukrainian butterflies soon.
