Hi Peter

Well done on a very nice shot. You show your subject very well. Crisp, clear and sharp. Good quality work. :-)

Hi Peter,

An image of extraordinary beauty and clarity, Peter.
I love the composition in which both the subjects complement each other.
Thanks for sharing it and take care.

Hi Peter,

Excellent close up shot of this moth, stunning details and colours, I love the sheen on the black wings and it all stands out against the blurred BG.
It was because of one of these moths six spotted cousins that I found TN as I entered the name in a search engine and found TN.

Regards Hilary

Hi Peter,
Thank you very much for the opportunity to get to see such a good picture of this Zygaena. You captured both the pinkish tones of the thistle and the red colors of the moth so extremely well against that soft, green background that it's a joy to behold it. Thanks a lot,

Hallo Peter,

Hello Peter, good shot. The colours and details are great and it's a great looking subject. I think a lower POV may work well here. Well done.
