Great color and depth of field. WOnderful detail. I tried a few dragonfly shots and I can't get that sort of detail. Beautiful photo. :)

good focus nice subject i wonder if their is a bit of a color cast? also i think increased contrast would be nice.

A very nice break from all the portrait and a splendid macro work from you! I was wonderring weather you could be tempted by these beautiful "photo-subjects" and it appears taht yes :)

A gorgeous presentation here with impressive details and a simply fantastic DOF that keeps the skimmer in excellent focus while blurring the BG so nicely.
The details here are impeccable and the colors are charming - with the typical markings of this species so well visible.

You beat me to this speceis (since i don't have any shots of it yet) but i promisse to try and catch up in the next days, if the weather holds up.

Great to see a dragonfly coming from you!! And a brilliant one as well! I've got several shots of the male but never managed the female. This is a very fine capture in great sharpness and natural colours. I like your POV and the soft dramatic background.
