Nothing special today - but a good chance to add Belgium to the map:
just a Jackdaw i could capture walking around on the grass during my visit in Brugge not too far from the Ezelpoort.

*********************
The Jackdaw (Corvus monedula)
is one of the smallest species (34–39 cm in length) in
the genus of crows and ravens.

Most of the plumage is black or greyish black except
for the cheeks, nape and neck, which are light grey to
greyish silver. The iris of adults is greyish white or
silvery white, the only member of the genus outside of
the Australasian region to have this feature. The iris
of juvenile jackdaws is light blue. The bird is
sociable, moving around in pairs (male and female) or
in larger groups, though the pairs of birds stay
together within the flocks.

Jackdaws are found over a large area stretching from
North West Africa through virtually all of Europe,
Iran, north-west India and Siberia, where they inhabit
wooded steppes, woodland, cultivated land, pasture,
coastal cliffs and villages and towns.

Hallo Thorsten,
Heinz

Hi Thorsten,
Congratulations on adding Belgium to your map.
Very nice composition with all these flowers. Too bad the point of view is not perfect.

A nice composition of this black bird in a field of flowers, Thorsten.
Good details on the jackdaw.
I particularly like the expression in his eye.
He is keeping track of you and does not trust you. : 0

Hi Thorsten,
Gruss..Sky

Hi Thorsten

Superb shot of the Jackdaw, nicely composed and a fine pose, he looks like he is really concentrating on something, maybe he has spotted a twig for a nest as all the ones that I see at the moment are walking around with nesting material in there beaks, nice sharp detail and I like the surrounding grass and Daisys.

Regards Hilary :o)

Very Springlike photo of a kauw" in a meadow with "madeliefjes"... I'd hate to be the thing the "kauw" has its beady eye on! Tfs, Jay
