wow quelle superbe composition, c'est surtout ton POV
que j'aimes et également excellent cadrage,
excellente luminosité de l'image et excellente densité des couleurs,
avec cette superbe netteté et les détails

mais je vais revenir au POV et cadrage de ton image
que j'aimes beaucoup, en regardant des photos on en apprend
aussi a bien photographier et ton image fait partie de ça, TFS

I was telling someone yesterday that the colours looked almost Romani in nature..in the US perhaps in Europe as well, those of Romani descent combine some interesting colours which in art should clash but when seen properly worn, somehow they add in a dynamic way...and this is true here...Those colours should clash, but they don't and they add a fine dynamic!

Effectivement, c'est incroyable! Et il est bien joli, avec une jolie composition super nette. Il aura quand même un peu de mal à trouver du nectar. J'ai vu dimanche un bourdon. Très tôt aussi il me semble.

Une belle palette de couleurs que tu partages avec nous aujourd'hui. J'aime bien la façon dont tu as cadré ta photo, la tête en bas, tu lui as laissé un excellent espace. De belles couleurs vives, une très belle netteté qui nous permet d'admirer ces superbes ailes. Très bien fait!

Ouais, on vit dans un pays au printemps hâtif, on fait des photos superbes de papillons en février, on flanque tout ça dans le visage des copains, on se bidonne, on rigole, on s'amuse. En plus, la photo est parfaite, rien à dire, ça fait ch... tout ça, bravo quand même. Et gnagnagna et gnagnagna! :-) Pendant ce temps nous on se paie encore 15 centimètres de neige et on en a ras le ponpon de l'hiver!

Another very beautiful picture from you are a gret macro shot presenting this beautiful first butterfly of 2008 :)
Lucky you to have already spotted one :)
This is a very nice shot of this Inachis io on some gorgeous flower! The colors and tones in this frame are just amazing...it looks closer to a shot taken in May, not in February :))
Very nice details here and excellent DOF settings, too!
Also, great use of the fill-in flash as well as very nice composition.
Overall: wonderful work!

En ce mois de février neigeux, les papillons ici sont sous verre avec une aiguille au milieu du ventre! Chanceux, le printemps est à vos portes. Quelles couleurs, j'adore les "vibrances" de l'été, c'est splendide Pat! Et ce papillon, quelle beauté et tu l'as capturé à merveille. Tout est net et de plus, j'adore le background avec les fleurs roses qui se répètent à l'arrière. C'est coloré et vivant, pétant de lumière. Et bien, tu es aussi doué pour les papillons que les oiseaux, merci beaucoup!

So this is the first butterfly this year! I am really happy to hear that! I do not like winter, and this first "spring hero" looks very nice! And strongly suggests that warmer days are just comming! :)
Beautiful picture, very optimistic and with lovely colours and POV. It is a great pleasure to watch it, especially during all these gray days which are now in Lodz :)
