Hi Catherine,
Wonderful macro capture of the large fly with great details! I like the sharpness and POV here with great show of natural colors. A great contrast can be seen between the colors of the fly and the white beauties.
Very well done!
best regards,
Paras

Hi Catherine.
Very cute close-up with so attractive subject, impressive composition and framing. Exposure of the image, delicateness of its colours are spot on as well as details. Image is soft a bit but it is not a point at all. My kind regards and TFS.
Alexei.

Hi Catherine,
you really entertain us TN watchers well with your interesting fly portraits. This Phasia male is quite something. Excellent how you treated the reflections on the wings. You also mastered the white color of the flowers. The body of the fly is not entirely sharp, this must have to do with the exposure time, 1/60 sec. This was obviously the price to pay when you work in the shade, the advantage being subdued light for the fly. Well done, Catherine.
Best regards
Dietrich
