Grows on wood splinters and small dead twigs.
Spherical yellow/ocher - comored fleece , loose at maturity on the edge.
Hight 0.6 - 1.1 mm.
Wide 0.4 - 0.8 mm.
In cup , dirthy white bits 0.3 - 1 mm spurs , with raindrops thrown.
From above , similar to the boiling sun.

Hello Yves,
An attractively composed image of these very colorful Bird's Nest fungi. Nice to view it at both stages of growth. Your f/25c aperture resulted in plenty of DOF and the exposure was perfect giving the image very pleasing light conditions.
I find this type of fungi growing in our mulch every summer.
