Pedro, Are sure someone didn't throw a hair dryer in the water here? ;-) The head frizz looks "electric"!! Good frame job, detail & I like this "wet" look. Don't see this often. Great post!

That's a Ugly one (the "foulque" not the shot).
It would have been good to increase F-Stop to f/11.

All animal babies are cute in my eyes, but young coots are probably close to being the ugliest baby critters after all ;-)) They start out with red and yellow frizz on the head then progress through the stage seen here and on to adulthood.
Nice low-key shot with the added bonus of the water droplets.

Nice capture Pedro. The little droplets add to the impact of the shot. Good sharpness and DOF as well.
