[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a relatively small bird - a bit larger that the common sparrow and I have been wondering why it has such a "great" name: Great reed warbler (Acrocephalus arundinaceus). Only at home, when looking at the picture on the monitor I saw, that the bird has a ring on its left leg - unfortunately I have absolutely no idea who planted it and why - maybe you can help me - is this a rare or protected bird maybe?

Hi Ivo,
great POV and framing, small birds are really tough to photograph as they are soo very shy, well done on this shot :)
I doubt if this is the 'Common Sparrow'
it dosn't have the dark markings to identify as one.
