The village of Voinyagovtsi is located a few km to the north of Sofia. Once you go up in the mountain and all the houses or villas are left behind, you start breathing again! Today it was a sunny day, although there are some snow spots left. But the whole feeling makes the impression of spring. The birches look happier when the sky is deep blue, don't they?
In fact, this is a marked route (white-yellow-white) and as far as I know, leads to a place with a monument of a partisan - some communist hero again... I didn't manage to reach it, but the scenery before it deserves huge admiration as well. Highly recommended for a short Saturday walk and breath of fresh air. |
