Hi Horia!
I'm glad you are back and you had a fine stay in Croatia!
Concerning your notes: I could upload many dozens of pictures of Croatia. I have set an electronic slideshow of 20 minutes from our holiday there last spring (Krk). You are right, the country - as far as I can judge - is fabulous. And your picture already gives us an impression of it. It's almost impossible to go there and not to show a sunset... Yours is simple, yet very pleasant and shows us the typical coast.
Kind regards
Markus

Welcome back Horia!
It is really nice to see you back, and to hear that your trip was nice and fruitful!
I really hope to see much more pictures from your from this region! (I was in Croatia but only in one place localized on the coast so it will be very interesting anything more :>).
Picture is really nice, has climat and very good composition. Colours of sunset and delicate BG add a lot to thisseascape picture :)
All the best from Lodz my Friend!

Fantastic sunset colors and amazing beauty of this country - and this is in your picture.
Hello my friend!
I see you're vacation in Craotia was a fruitful one for photography! I hope to visit there next when i come across for a tour of your part of the world. Here you have chosen an excellent composition. Great deoth created by your placement of the shoreline stone and subtle yet beautiful light form the dying sun. My only point would be that i feel the bottom left hand corner is a little dark? Perhaps this is just on my monitor though!
Hope you are well and relaxed after a good break away. I am looking forward to more form you from Croatia!

Hi Horia!
As I haven't been on the Croatian coast for 2 years now and for you're very right about that sentence written with capitals, it's very nice for me to see such a wonderful shot of this place! TFS, favs theme right away :)
Best regards,
Andor
There appears from this image to be a lot of action at one time in the long ago geologic past...the mountains are all evenly heighted and the rocks look smooth by wind, weather, water or time..or perhaps ac combination of all..I am going to have to go back to my history books and examine Croatia a bit more..that is a Slavic Country yes? there are so many historical things in the area as well as myths and legends and people who still tell stories orally...Quite the place from what little I do know...thanks for sharing..Perhaps one day we shall have a Croatian or two more here..

Hi Horia,
Very beautiful landscape. This seems to be a peaceful place. I like the details of stones and the effect that you gave to the waves. It seems that the horizon is not straight, perhaps because of the mountain...

Hi Horia.
Nice work. I am impressed with applied technique and first of all exposure parameters again. Wonderful reproduction of water surface. Colurs and lights are very delicate and look nicely. DOF and details are greet. And what about use of neutral filters for decreasing aperture value to optimum level? Well done and kind regards.
Alexei.

Hi again!
Great picture from beautifull place, now I'm dreaming abour real holidays :-) Very good idea with long exposure time - everything is well exposured and frozen in time perfectly. Pity that you hadn't got really wide lens like Paul or Stephen :-) BTW I was in Croatia and travelled from Dubrovnik to Montenegro - Croatian coast is breathtaking!

Hallo Horia
This is an idyllic scene and most pleasant view to admire. The arrangement of soft colours in the sky is amazing and most relaxing to look at. Just like the sky creates a tranquil mood, so does the water and the rocks in the foreground. A really delightful view of this Croatian sunset. Thanks for sharing and enjoy your day.
Kind regards
Anna

Hi Horia,
Great to see you back and great to see that you first photo is a stunning seacape. The soft colors in the sky are most wonderful. The adriatic sea is well known for its lack of surf and current and the 5 seconds exposure are just right to get some motion in the water. The bright rocks contrast great with the dark sea and they are wonderfully shaped. Spot on composition with good details.

Hello Horia,
Interesting that you start your Croatia series with a sunset! :)
But really here it is the coastline that is the point of interest, a beautiful bay lined by limestone rocks. The 5 sec exposure has had a pleasing effect on the water to soften it without making it too steamy.
I have never been to Croatia, but if I had the opportunity it would be the special insect, bird and plant-life associated with the limestone that would interest me.
Thanks and best wishes,
Ivan
Hi Horia
Was looking at your library and could not but help myself post a critique on this sunset of yours... long coastal exposures are something I have not tried before and need to suss out before my holiday to Ireland in 2 weeks time... we are staying on the coast there.... have just ordered 2 new lee filters (husband will cringe but...) I didn't have any standard ND filters, only graduated ones which i use for my normal landscape work...
anyhow - great composition, with a lovely sky and foreground.... guess the only thing you really needed were some fluffy clouds!
any tips on how to make coastal landscape actually work... my last attempt (over 3 years ago) was on film and did not work....
TFS
Emma
