Double rainbow

Yesterday we went for a fantastic rock climbing trip to Kalnik, Croatia. After a very fine day with ever changing weather we headed back to Hungary when while still raining the low evening sun came out of the clouds and casted amazing light on the fields around us.

Then we saw this beautiful double rainbow. I could only make a shot from the car because of the rain so it could have been much more nice but anyway I wanted to show it to you.

At least the typical brightness difference in the part between the two rainbows and the part under the inner one can be seen well.

Best regards,
Andor

Wow Andor, this is lovely!

Hi Andor!

Your picture remembers me the story my parents were telling us when we were children. I guess they got it from a tale that said there's a treasure hidden at the place where the rainbow touches the ground. Now, have you ever tried to find that spot? It's impossible, and that means that the treasure still exists... for sure!

:-)

Kind regards

Markus

Hello Andor

A neat phenomenon you have captured.
The colours show well.
Nicely composed with an artistic look.
I hope you found the pot of gold.

Hello Andor,
The light that penetrate through the clouds that falls on the field is really nice as a fg interest!

This one may have been a triple but I am not sure...it takes a certain eye and I have seen them..the ones strongest hold close to them the third....Excellent capture and presentation! I can tell when someone is proud of an accomplishment or discovery and here you have done!

Szia Andor!
