[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Today I share another picture of the Dragonfly. Throughout the Czech Republic is a common species.
The second picture with a different point of view in Workshop.
Thank you all for your visit and criticism - this is useful for me. Points (smiling) are not important for me.

Black-tailed Skimmer (Orthetrum cancellatum)
Czech name: Vážka černořitná

The Black-tailed Skimmer is a European and Asian dragonfly. It occurs nearly all over Europe except northern UK and Scandinavia, to the east the range extends to Kashmir and Mongolia.
The body of the dragonfly has a length 44-49 mm. Nymph is long 26 mm. It has a densely hairy body and short legs.
Nymphs live in ponds or lakes. Nymph develops about two years.
Male and female coloration is quite different, the adult male is colored light blue abdomen and chest are brown, while the freshly hatched female and male are yellow on the abdomen and chest brownish-yellow. The female has a black sickle-shaped bottom side stripes. Eyes on top of the touch point. The wings are transparent. The legs are black and female in addition to yellow on the thighs. At the bottom, and recent articles pendants are female and male black color.
The adults fly from May to August. Males flying around in their territory, which can reach lengths 10-50 m along the coast. They often sit down at the same place on the rocks or vegetation. Both sexes fly and sometimes quite far from water. The female lays eggs, for its flight into the shallow water with plants.

a super sharp capture of a male O. cancellatum. The POV and composition match well with the plain wood BG showing it up nicely with excellent saturated colours.

nice capture of this dragonfly with fine sharpness and many details. The picture in the workshop is more aesthetic, but in this the abdomen is nicely blue and we can enjoy more details.

Hello Milos,
a pretty capture with the tail look very exciting. Such a nice composition with good background for contrast. I like the sharpness of the wings that resemble a net.
Lovely blue tail, that stood out well.
