[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Wild boar (Sus scrofa), also known as wild pig, is a species of the pig genus Sus, part of the biological family Suidae. The species includes many subspecies. It is the wild ancestor of the domestic pig, an animal with which it freely hybridises.Wild boar are native across much of Northern and Central Europe, the Mediterranean Region (including North Africa's Atlas Mountains) and much of Asia as far south as Indonesia. Populations have also been artificially introduced in some parts of the world, most notably the Americas and Australasia, principally for hunting. Elsewhere, populations have also become established after escapes of wild boar from captivity.

Hi Jiri, this specie is very common in my forest but i never had the chance to see it! Magnificent capture and a lucky meeting,it seems in pose only for you but whitout smile..ehehe...excellent sharpness, colors and light balance.Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano

Hi Jiri,
Greatly composed, fascinating capture with great light balance in difficult conditions. Everything's OK on the image in my opinion except for the heavy background noise, you might deal more with this issue through post-processing. Otherwise a valuable post.
Best regards, László

Hello Jiri,
I expect this was taken in a Zoo as they're pretty dangerous animals not easy to approach! I've only seen one once, dead by the roadside - it was enormous! Your capture is taken from a fine POV and details and colours are very fine!
TFS and best wishes, Ulla

Hi Jiri.
I like the picture very much, pose of the impressive animal, selected POV and framing/cropping are excellent. Details of the wild pig are stunning too. Blurriness of the tree trunk is nervous a little bit but it is not a point. TFS and kind wishes.
P.S. Thanks for visit to my page and kind comments.
