What a wonderful and rare "Sabot de Vénus" that you have well captured ! Perhaps a bit dark... Last year I also send one on TN. Congratulations Jan and thanks for sharing.

Hello Jan!
Wonderful capture.Lighting,POV,clear details,framing and composition are excellent.TFS...:-)

Hi Jan,
Beautiful flower and composition.
Image seems quite dark - is this the true color of the flower - it seems to be almost black?

Excellent capture Jan! Not many people know how beautifull or exotic flowers grow in our countries! This one is really tropical. Great colours and shapes of this orchid.

Beautifull plant and beautifull capture! I feel too that is a bit too dark.
This is rare and protected in Romania too, but I never met it.

Regards, Petru

Lovely shot!
These are, no doubt, my favourite orchids. They are rare here too, but luckily there is a place near my house where quite many of them grow. I always have problem with exposure capturing them because it's hard not to burn the yellows and still have well exposed dark part of the flower. I think you did very well on that.
I like it a lot!

Bonjour Jan,
Ces sabots de Vénus sont assez répandus mais leurs formes attirent toujours l'oeil surtout celui du photographe. Belle image pour une belle plante. Merci. Gérard
