Red squirrel

Two times a year, the red squirrel is totally oblivious to it's surroundings (counting photographers) - springtime, when new leaves pops up, and fall when food must be collected before winter time.

This is not a spring picture!

Hi Dan,

This is great! Caught him at the perfect time with the too big nut in his mouth. Fine details and nice colors. I love the whiskers, eye, and the stray hairs that show off so well against the background.

Lovely shot! Excellent point of view. Good details and focus. Light is maybe a little bit dark on your subject. I pot a Workshop. It's an other version of your nice shot!
