[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This Fieldfare (Turdus pilaris) or in German "Wacholderdrossel" I photographed at a filling station in Jyvaskula. It was hunting for worms and insekt in the morning. I used my car as a shelter to get closer to the bird.

Fieldfares are very frequent in Jyvaskula, especially in the bushes and forests and adjacent lawns they can be spotted. However, they are usually shy birds and disappear in the trees when people approach.

nice pose good colors nice catchlight in the birds eye but i think the shot could be improved if you sharpened the bird.

Hello Mike, that's a good bird shot, sharp and well exposed. I think an horizontal crop would be more effective ! Thanks,
