Hello Gerard,
I see we are neighbor's today and that you have posted a beautiful looking Field Rose Bloom. I must admit I am not familiar with this particular plant, but the bloom reminds me a lot of our Multiflora Roses, which grow thick and wild just about everywhere here in Ohio.
You have captured this blossom in fine detail and vivid yet natural colors. White balance looks perfect and the F/18 aperture resulted in some great DOF. Well done!!
