This skeleton must have been of a wild boar, there are lots of them here in the south of France! I found it somewhere in the middle of nowhere and it's rather funny, the idea of a skeleton biting in wood, although of course this wasn't its job..

With your choices the pic comes with very poor quality.
Also it is best not to truncate a piece of the subject.
I think this was a pig.

Yes the picture could have been a bit bigger.

But a very interesting composition. Is the lower jaw not missing?
