[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
One of the most common birds of prey in the south of france is this black kite. However common, getting it to pose is more difficult. You need either a combination of wind and sun being right, or a dead bird or thrash heap so they will land :)

lacking the latter two (unless you count my car a thrash heap) I had to wait for nature to help
