Hello Christian, how are you MF?
It has been a long time since we last met around, and it is a pleasure to enjoy again your beautiful shots. The DOF here really makes a beautiful presentation, turning a simple flower into an artistic photo. Great exposure and details too.
I will have to check your web site for new fungi, as you don't post any in TN lately, and I miss them! :)
Best regards, Felipe.

Beautiful shot with excellent detail and colour Christian.
Soon it will be summer for us and the Gentians will be flowering here ... and soon it will be autumn for you and there will be lots of fungi.
Cheers, Steve

็Hi Christian,
Beautiful flower. The image is sharp and crisp clear and stands out from background nicely. POV and composition are great. Very well done.
JC

very nice, great sharpness and nice natural light. Greetings Ori

Allo Christian,

Hello Christian,
it's nice to see another post from you.
Sharp with good details and superb clarity.
Beautiful colours.
Brilliant DOF.
Well done,
Joe

Bonjour Christian,
A magnifcent picture!
It's so lovely your POV and the inclination of the flowers, I like so much the way it goes through the center on the image.
The subtle tones makes it so delicate flower, that stands out so well from the nicely blurred background.
Felicitacions et merci du partager.
Mes amities,
JM

Bonjour Christian,
A magnifcent shot
great colours,sharpnes and background

Hi Christian
I rarely make a critiques and comments on plant photography. Plants are very dificult objects and I think that it is not so easy to take a good plant photo (and avoid an effect of ordinariness)

Your photo is very good, perfectly sharp, with great contrast and perfect OOF homogenous buckground. Fly as a bonus :-)
Best wishes
Krzysztof

Hi Christian.
You have begun to share pictures so seldom but every shot is superb.
Amazing flowers and attractive addition – the fly. Diagonal structure of the shot is looked greatly as well as the tiny details and wonderful delicate colours. DOF is selected very well to. BG is finely smoothed and main subject is in focus at all. Bravo and TFS. I wish you (and our self) more pictures and posts.
Alexei.

Hi Taz,
Lovely soft light and colors here.
Just the right amount of sharpness and DOF, great details. Excellent POV and BG, I see that fly has added his two cents also :)
Very well done!

Bonjour Christian,
Anne

Hi Christian,
A beauty! The overcast light really brought out some beautiful color saturation. Nice sharp detail with a well controled DOF. The fly makes a nice addition for scale. Well done my friend!
Scott

bonjour christian
bravo.

Dear Christian,
very elegant presentation of the Field Gentian - perfectly placed focus on petals while a short depth of field allows the leaves to fade rapidly into the pleasant softness of an ideally fitting neutral distant backgroud. And the visiting fly adds the spice for a good story. Thank you!
My best regards,
Peter
