[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [French]
Pardosa species.

This little spider is one of our most common, running on dead leafs, looking for prey.
The female carries its eggs on the back, and later the spiderling ;-).
I couldn't identify the specie unless killing my subject, so I didn't.
I'm aware it isn't the sharper photo I took, but it's one of the first with my new lens, and I like the contrast between the snow and the arachnide.
I hope you do so ;-).
I'll try to write a more complete note later, but my job take me very much time.

Excelent capture of the pardosa. We have lots here running around also.
Well done on this composition.
I have some you might be interested in.

P.s. funny, they look dark grey with the naked eye, but up close, golden brown.

Hi Sebastien, it's a great photo and very interesting to see one on ice, I've never seen such a sight. Beautifully detailed. This genus I also find extremely difficult to ID. I'm glad you liked the book :-)

Thank you Sebastien you have answered an ident question for me. The shots a good one nicely detailed especially considering the massive contrast between the BG and the subject.
TFS and look forward to the expanded note.

Great shot!
The contrast between the spider and bright BG looks great. The POV and compoaition are perfect.
I like it very much.
Well done!

Great macro Sebastien,
Excellent detail, composition and sharpness.
The ice is a wonderful touch, Thanks for posting

Halo Sebastien!
What a great BG! AMAZING! Something incredible!

I wonder if the hairs on the spiders legs are standing out like that because it is freezing!?
Anyway - Excelent background, composition and contrast between the ice and spider.

An excellent capture. Great detail in the dark and light areas for such a range of contrast. You have done an excellent job with this unique composition.

Elle est superbe cette macro Sebastien, votre nouvelle lentille donne d'excellents résultats, très bonne définition et couleurs naturelles.

Félicitations et Bonne journée!

Wonderful macro and superb composition!
Very well done!

I am not fond of spiders, Sebastian, however this is very unique and well done. Excellent BG for showing off the fine details of this spider's features. I have a hunch that perhaps we will be seeing more "on ice" themes in the macro world of TN.
Thank you for the exceptional posting.

Very interesting composition Sebastien. The spider is a bit dark but must be normal in such a bright BG.
Well done and thank you for sharing.

Hi Sebastien good catch of this spider, and on snow too. I can see the patterns on the legs, so I think it is really clear. Very good. TFS.

Une araignée sur la neige ce n'est pas courant de voir ça. Bravo pour cette belle photo d'un animal pas très aimé mais qui fait partie de notre nature.
Bons détails.

Personal assessment of the note: good.
Thank you Sébastien.

Hi Sebastien!
This is a very interesting photo from the biological point of view! Spiders are one of the most common invertebrates active on the snow cover. For me it is especially nice photograph because I had oportunity to participate in studies on the winter active insects and spiders in Central Poland.
