Hi Didier,
This is a very special photo! I think it was realy chalanging to take it. Image has very nice colors and is realy interesting showing the flight position of this insect.
Thank you for sharing,
Cristian

Bonjour Didier,
clearly a rare and unique picture of a flying longhorn beetle.
I tried several times to capture starting Cerambycidae and also Elateridae, unfortunately with poor results only.
Best wishes, Peter
salut Didier,
toujours aussi spectaculaires ces images en l'air. Le point de vue par dessous donne le sentiment d'assister à une chute.
Question : pourquoi le choix F/8 ?

Bonjour Didier,
Though I have seen this species live and in many photos I have never seen a picture of Clytus arietis in flight. Some parts are sharp, but of course you needed a higher shutterspeed to get most of it sharply, but it looks good despite the high ISO.
Whatever, it is a fine and interesting image taken against a superb BG.
Merci et bon soirée,
Ivan

hi didier
I like this macro work showing a fine focus of the wasp in motion and doing a good job to freeze the action. This kind of shot is most difficult and it often results in spoils.
Good work.
tfs, bill
