Hi Emmanuel,

I really like it!
An unusual approach to a flower. Most of us try to capture color and detail with flowers, but you have taken an entirely different approach. It's interesting that the flower's petals radiate like the rays of the sun.

Your name is terrific too. It reminds me of the dark side of the moon which, like the dark side of this flower, faces us when the moon is between us and the sun.

Very pleasing warm colors. Well composed with the main subject off center and the line between dark and light drawn at a slight diagonal at about the bottom third of the frame. Basic photography principles well applied.
