Good shot! You've captured this Peacock butterfly very nicely indeed. Sharpness and focus are excellent, and the colours really work well together. DOF might be a little deeper I think, although it's hard to tell at this size. About the only thing I'm slightly less convinced by is the composition itself, the position of the butterfly seems slightly off to me... Anyway a very nice capture :-D

P.S. I'm sure someone will be asking you shortly, but how did you sharpen this one?

Very nice photo with perfect composition, sharpness and beautiful colors. Background is perfect too.

Beautiful shot Christophe.
With this kind of clarity, you could possibly afford to crop and enlarge it if you wanted to.
Very nice as it is though.
Well done.

Hi Christophe. This is a lovely image. I often find peacocks a bit nervous and difficult to approach (compared to say Painted Ladies or Red Admirals). You've done a good job here with lovely colours and details. The composition is lovely but I've done a workshop to show some possible alternatives. It can often help to play around with composition during PP. I'm not saying they are better but just different. Yours is lovely, TFS :)

Nico.

Beautiful and interesting shot for this superb butterfly ! Composition, colors, details and sharpness are good ! Thanks for sharing Christophe.

Ahlalaaaaaa quelle merveille...

Thank you for your critique on my photo. I was looking through your photos and they are great. I like this one because of the butterfly's colours, and also because I am attracted to fern leaves. Very good close up, with good sharpness and colours. The wings show many details. Well done.

Très belle photo, j'aime beaucoup, félicitations

Hi Christophe,

Beatifull! Very good with the contrary colors red and green. The vern makes the focus on the butterfly and gives it dept.

Good work,

Hendrik
