|After observing this fox going about it's business in a grassy clearing for some time, I decided to find a good spot to get a little closer. I sat in the long grass near the base of a tree, and he worked his way towards me. At this point he was about five metres away. When he eventually noticed me, he stopped, had a good look, and then went off in the other direction. I only had the time to get this one shot, as I didn't want to frighten him with the sound of the camera, and focusing through the grass was a bit of a technical nightmare, but all in all it was quite a special moment. As if that wasn't enough, my 9 year old daughter (already a keen naturalist) was with me to share the experience.|

Amicalement,
Nice shot. Foxes are more shy in France than in the countries around because of the heavy hunting pressure (not to mention poaching). 5m approach is a feat here.
Same tone for the fox and the grass: nice!
