|the Aiguille du Midi is the highest of the aiguilles of Chamonix, in the Mont Blanc massif (4810 m, the highest peak in Europe). It culminates at 3842 m and offers a 360 ° panoramic view of all the surrounding mountains. It can be accessed by cable car. It is a starting point to climb Mont Blanc but also to ski down to the valley of Chamonix by the "Vallée Blanche".|
The photo shows the Chamonix valley, the upper station of the cable car and the mountains north of the valley, including Brévent

Grand bird's eye view of the massif from a high vantage point of view, Philippe.
The depth of view into the valley and beyond is very good.
I wish the man-made structure in the foreground could have been kept out of the frame.
