[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [French]
the Aiguille du Midi is the highest of the aiguilles of Chamonix, in the Mont Blanc massif (4810 m, the highest peak in Europe). It culminates at 3842 m and offers a 360 ° panoramic view of all the surrounding mountains. It can be accessed by cable car. It is a starting point to climb Mont Blanc but also to ski down to the valley of Chamonix by the "Vallée Blanche".
The photo shows the Chamonix valley, the upper station of the cable car and the mountains north of the valley, including Brévent

Grand bird's eye view of the massif from a high vantage point of view, Philippe.
The depth of view into the valley and beyond is very good.
I wish the man-made structure in the foreground could have been kept out of the frame.
