A simple butterfly... It's The Peacock butterfly - Inachis io - Thanks PDP for the piece of information ;) Seems it's a very easy butterfly to find but still beautiful to see, with the little blue eyes on the wings.

Hi Josquin, very nice shot. It's The Peacock butterfly - Inachis io. I quite like the POV and the colours are gorgeous. However, a smaller apeture would have given more of the wings in focus. Nevertheless it's a fine shot and I hope you can write a good note now that you have the ID.

At fisrst I thought the shot was OOF, but then I realized it is actually the texture and colors playing tricks on my eyes.

Un superbe cliché.
La composition, le point de vue sont très bien choisis, les couleurs très agréables.
En diminuant l'ouverture (nombre F plus grand), vous auriez augmenté la profondeur de champ, et éviter ainsi le flou sur les extrémités des ailes.
Malgré tout, c'est magnoifique.
Très bien vu, et bienvenue sur TN ;-).
