The Kehlstein is a 1,834 m (6,017 ft) subpeak of the Hoher Göll, a 2,522 m (8,274') mountain in the Bavarian Alps above Obersalzberg near Berchtesgaden. It is the location of the famous Kehlsteinhaus (Eagle's Nest).
The Kehlsteinhaus (in English-speaking countries also known as the Eagle's Nest) is a chalet-style structure erected on a subpeak of the Hoher Göll known as the Kehlstein. It was built as an extension of the Obersalzberg complex erected in the mountains above Berchtesgaden. The Kehlsteinhaus was intended as a 50th birthday present for Adolf Hitler to serve as a retreat, and a place for him to entertain visiting dignitaries.

Kehlstein – góra o liczącym ok. 600 metrów długości grzbiecie, wysokości bezwzględnej 1881 metrów n.p.m. w Alpach Berchtesgadeńskich w okolicy Berchtesgaden, w Niemczech w pobliżu granicy z Austrią, 20 km na południe od miasta Salzburg. Na zachodnim krańcu grzbietu wybudowana w latach 1938/39 herbaciarnia Hitlera.
Herbaciarnia na Kehlsteinie org. (niem. Kehlsteinhaus, ang. Eagle's Nest – Orle Gniazdo) – prezent urodzinowy NSDAP na 50. urodziny Adolfa Hitlera.

Obiekt został wybudowany jako jedno z założeń kompleksu rezydencji Hitlera, Bormanna, Goeringa i ich zaplecza, wznoszonych od 1933 do końca II wojny światowej ze środków tzw. Fundacji Hitlera w rejonie Berchtesgaden.

Lovely shot of a nice place. Mountains, vegetation, light clouds in the blue sky are reproduced perfectly. I like excellent details of the whole scene, pleasant a bit cold colours, impressive combination of shadows and lights. Warm regards and best wishes.
