This goldfinch sat in front of my kitchen window. As ist was a very snowy day yesterday, he waited till some other birds left the food place. So I could make this photograph of him.

Hi Rose,

Very vivid colours, a perfect background and very well composed shot. Great work. Suggestion: Some PP work would have enhanced its value.. I am not entirely sure if u have not done that :-).

This bird is so different from our Goldfinches here. This is a superbe capture at all levels. Even if the waether seems dull a bit, colors and details stand out very well. Thanks,

I like this your capture without disturbing ellements.Very nice composition with pretty pose of this beautiful bird on branch.Amazing colors on plumage and very acceptable monochromatic blurry BG.Very often I him see on ours garden.Well done,TFS.

wann habe ich denn diesen hübschen stieglitz verpasst?! so einen hatte ich ja noch nicht am futterhaus - ab und zu sehe ich mal
welche in der gegend herumfliegen, aber immer zu weit weg oder ich bin ohne cam unterwegs...
klasse erwischt mit perfektem bildausschnitt und schön am rand positioniertem ast.
der mix aus rot-gelb-braun-schwarz-weiss gefällt mir immer wieder.
mal schauen, ob du diesen winter wieder einen solch netten besucher hast. viele grüße, thor.

These are beautiful birds,you have captured this one well.
The colours are vivid and well saturated.I like where you placed this one in the frame.
The plumage detail is excellent and you captured very good eye contact.
