Geniales Bild, Rose,
diese Taubenschwänzchen sind aber auch allerliebst! Stell' Dir vor, das erste hab' ich in diesem Jahr schon im April gesehen, das letzte Ende Oktober, dabei lieben sie ja die Wärme, scheinen aber auch mit unserem Klima erstklassig zurecht zu kommen.

A beautiful freeze frame of this hummingbird moth.
The clarity is wonderful and the details are sharp.
The colours are well saturated and deep.The OOF BG is lovely.
Excellent POV and DOF.

vielleicht sollte ich mal im kölner zoo schauen, ob sie diese hübchen brummer auch haben...
klasse im flug erwischt, schön auch mit dem schon ausgefahrenen rüssel und den "passenden" blumen dazu.
interessant zu sehen, dass sogar noch mit 1/1000 die flügel noch eine leichte bewegungsunschärfe zeigen.

This is so funny! I have seen many pictures of this insect but I have never seen one in real :) This is not an easy shot to achieve I guess and you did great! I like the contrast of colors, composition, POV and exposure a lot. Well seen Rose :)!
