Hello Peter,
This is a superb macro of Rhagium inquisitor, a common species in Sweden that I have not yet had the chance to photograph. Good use of natural light and as you hand held the camera, which you usually do, and as no doubt the longhorn was moving, the shutter speed choice was wise. Using that you achieved a satisfactory DOF. The Bg and composition are excellent.
Well done and thanks for sharing this,
Have a nice weekend,
Ivan

Peter, Very nice shot. I like your eye catch in this shot. Moreover the shadow reflecting here shows the lighting effect. Well done and TFS ganesh

Hi friend,
This is an impressive macro with superb lightning, POV, details, composition and exposure! I like the lightning a lot here and the brilliance on the insect!
Take care Ana:)
