[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Today I made a trip with a friend to the region where the orchids grows.
Sadly we started a bit late so we had all time bad light on our trip.
It was fantastic to see all the small coming orchids and other rare plants.

One of them I will show you here, Adonis vernalis is very rare here into my region therefore we was happy to find some exemplars of it.

I know the picture is not the best, it was taken with a flash but I donít miss to show you that nice beauty. Perhaps we the sun will shine and I will find on weekend a bit time to take my equipment for taking another pictures of it.

Kind regards

The below informationís where taken from Wikipedia

Adonis vernalis, known variously as pheasant's eye, spring pheasant's eye, yellow pheasant's eye and false hellebore, is a perennial flowering plant found in dry meadows and steppes in Eurasia. Isolated populations are found from Spain in the west across central and southern Europe, reaching southern Sweden in the north, with its main area of distribution being the Pannonian Basin and the West Siberian Plain.[1] In contrast to most other European Adonis species, the flowers appear in springtime, and are up to 80 mm in diameter, with up to 20 bright yellow petals.
The plant is poisonous, containing cardiostimulant compounds, such as adonidin and aconitic acid.[2] In addition, it is often used as an ornamental plant.[3]
(Green false hellebore, sometimes also called simply "false hellebore," is Veratrum viride, a member of the lily family.)

Hello Sacha,
This is a wonderful flower that is very rare here in Sweden too where it doesn't come into flower until May. Even though conditions were not right you managed to get a very beautiful capture using flash. I like the composition too!
