Thanks to Anne I'm sure that it is a Tenthredo Species and I think that it is probably Tenthredo notha.

Deutsch:

Klasse: Insekten, Ordnung: Hautflügler; Familie: Echte Blattwespen; Gattung: Tenthredo; Art: Tenthredo notha

Hello Helmut,

Beautiful & sharp image of this wasp feeding & suspended by florets. We have nothing like this in eastern Canada, although it's yellow color is not unlike that of the yellowjacket wasp.

Regards,

Derek

Lieber Helmut,
Anne

Hello Helmut,

Excellent details in the wasp, that stands out very well on the small white flowers!
Black and yellow often signal wasp, and is a message to me to be careful hehehe...
