[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Harvestmen are not so attractive as butterflies but nevertheless offer bizarre forms and appearance under certain point of views. In this case, the spider seems to embrace the plant with all eight legs.

Harvestmen species (Opiliones) often possess long legs compared to the small body. But they can be also rather short. The legs of the species shown here
- Phalangium opilio
are particularly long.

Ciao Peter.
Una sola parola racchiude questa foto.Stupenda complimenti.
Ti auguro una buona domenica ciao Marco.

Hi Peter,

Very well executed capture of this rather difficult to capture spider species. The green leaf's hue is perfect contrast for displaying the abdomen & length & range of the gangly appendages. Perfect pov & razor sharp focus. Well taken!

Ciao Peter, great macro of Opliones with fantastic details, great sharpness, splendid light and wonderful natural colors, very well done, my friend, have a good Sunday, ciao Silvio

Ciao Peter. Impressive DOF razor details for the interesting situation. Another masterpiece from you.

Hello Peter,
Incredible details and sharpness. The natural colors and the perfect focus are amazing.
excellent capture of very interesting long legs spider.
Have a nice weekend!

The legs of this spider are really long and you have conveyed that impression well through the size of the plant, Peter. What role these long legs play in the life of this little fellow is among the mysteries of nature.
A well seen and deftly composed capture.

Lieber Peter,
