Sympetrum striolatum (Common Darter) is a dragonfly of the family Libellulidae native to Eurasia. It is one of the most common dragonflies in Europe, occurring in a wide variety of water bodies, though with a preference for breeding in still water such as ponds and lakes.

Hi Jordan,

Rarely see this type of pictures in TN, and really I don't know if they apply within the context of the site; but I must confess that I like. It's very artistic, good crop and composition. Excellent use of lines and the projection of the elements. Very interesting.
