[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A natrix natrix. It is not venomous (the only venomous snake in Greece is the viper) and is called "nerophido" in Greek (i.e. water-snake), because it usually lives in streams or basins. This particular snake is about 1 m. long. It was a bit scared of me. So, he protected its head.
