|A dolichophis caspius. It lives in Greece including several islands, FYROM, southern Slovakia, Hungary, southern and eastern Romania, European Turkey, Bulgaria, Albania and Montenegro. It is not venomous (the only venomous snake in Greece is the viper). It feeds on rodents, lizards and other snakes. It reaches 2 m. in length.|

This is a great picture of the snakes head with lovely BG and great sharpness. The movement in the tongue is fantastic.
