Hi Catherine. It looks as if you had a good time in Greece. You have come back with so many fine pictures of the flowers.
This Four-spotted Orchid was taken with fine detail and bright colours. I like your low POV looking slightly up at the flower. well done TFs.

Hi Catherine,

Excellent portrait of this lovely orchid. Well done!

Hello Catherine,

Orchid are such beautiful flowers and you have captured this well. The fleshy petals and bright colours are set against a non-distracting b/g.

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

hello Catherine
beautiful colored picture
great light and good details of the orchid
i hope find some of the orchids in Lefkada on 3 mei about 2 weeks
greeting lou

A beauty in itself beautifully depicted within a finely exposed and sharply focused image Catherine, the BG is a little noisy though, a larger aperture, say, an f/8 maybe would render it more fuzzy without endangering the sharpness of the flowerhead, still it is a nice vertical composition.

Hi Catherine, a fine macro capture of this island beauty from nice POV with wonderful composition, excellent DOF and details.
TFS and cheers,

Bonjour Catherine,
Agréable macro, bien composée, valorisant bien le sujet par la finesse des détails et la délicatesse des couleurs.
A bientôt sur TN pour de nouvelles aventures.
