[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
In late August there were some really rainy days and then some hot ones. Perfect for mushroom hunting. Mount Pilio is a place where large varieties of those fungi grow in the forests and they are a delicacy for those that like them. Many of them are really poisonous and one should be careful to recognize the safe varieties. This one I found growing on a tree trunk and the bright colors it has is a sign that it is poisonous, but its colors were really striking so I thought of sharing it with you.

I didn't know the name until a minute ago thanks to László (Hormon_Manyer)an excellent photographer.

Hi Argiris,
Your good photo shows Laetiporus sulphureus, without any doubt, a very common specie on the Northern hemisphere. Edible when young. Very nice pic, great focus, colors and sharpness. Bravo.
Best wishes from Hungary, László
